**Farmers Arms is awarded Chef's Hat - The Age Good Food Guide 2007**

The Farmers Arms is a country pub with heart & soul. The heart is where real locals rub elbows with city folk in one of the friendliest bars in the country. The soul is a wood paneled dining room that "is one of the best foodie pubs in Victoria" (The Age Good Food Guide 2005).


Owners Simon Bevanda & Vanessa Kalamistrakis have maintained a warm space with an inviting ambience serving modern Mediterranean cuisine featuring local, fresh produce and carefully selected regional & not so local wines.


The Restaurant

Tagine of chicken and pumpkin with preserved lemon and green olives

Marinated feta and olives served with pickled turnip and peppers


 


Interiors

In a town with significant gastronomic pretensions, the Farmers Arms Hotel has none. Yet its food is the best I've eaten in Daylesford. By a fairly wide margin, too.
